Big news for lovers of Italy’s cutest car: a new Fiat 500 has been announced. This is the first major update to the 500 and here at ItalianCar we have been a little concerned that Fiat will ‘do a MINI’ and make the new generation bigger, bulkier and less appealing. We needn’t have worried as this is a very careful updating of the original idea not a complete redesign. Phew.

Fiat have obviously been aware that some people may find the update a little too subtle, to combat the feeling of anti-climax they have stated that some 1800 design changes have taken place. The details we particularly like are the very cool new real lights and the tweaked face of the new baby Fiat. We also welcome the updates to the interior.
