Offered from the estate of Jim Reark, a well-known enthusiast in Melbourne and former President of the Maserati Club of Australia, this factory right-hand drive 308 GT4 has been a multiple Targa Tasmania entrant and a familiar sight at many tarmac rallies and historical events. Extensively upgraded in Reark’s long-term ownership including an engine, gearbox, front end and suspension rebuild in 1999 by a Marque specialist at a cost of $37,000. The Ferrari has been professionally set up with a roll cage, Terratrip computer, and intercom system and comes with a CAMS historic logbook. An ideal Group S competitor, the 308 is currently registered on club plates in Victoria and is finished in the classic Ferrari colour combination of red with black and beige trim, with five-spoke 16 inch Cromodora rims.
To be offered for sale unregistered with some receipts of work carried out, some correspondence and a CAMS logbook.
