A fantastic 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C SS is set to take part in this years Mille Miglia thanks to the hard work and dedication of Australian Alfisti.

Paul Lawson and Graeme Sedgwick are about to fulfil a dream when the car they loving restored will roll off the start line of the most famous road race in the world on May 19th.

The car was discovered in a dilapidated state in a barn in Calabria by Paul’s father way back in 1972. It was then freighted to Australia where a full scale restoration was undertaken.

A similar Alfa Romeo 6C SS actually won the Mille Miglia way back in 1929 driven by Giuseppe Campari and Giulio Ramponi.
