Italian Job Recreation
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Miura, Lamborghini sent 2 Miuras from its Museum to the beautiful Italian Alps to recreate the opening sequence of the cult movie The Italian Job. The 1969 classic film is a firm favourite of car fans even though the on-screen destruction of so many cars, especially the sonorous Miura makes you wince.
During the recreation event, a reunion of some of the men behind the Miura took place. Engineers Gian Paolo Dallara and Paolo Stanzani, were joined by designer Marcello Gandini.
